I just went to Sta Lucia East Cainta this afternoon to pay my share on the Philhelth.
It was around 2 pm when I decided to go to the Philhelth Office. I don’t know what time I arrive since I don’t have a watch with me and haven’t seen someone who has a watch while riding the jeepney. The moment that I arrive at the Sta Lucia East, I tried to find someone who I could ask for direction, found a local guard who pointed me to the right direction. The office is located at the side of TGIF (restaurant). I have to wait for a little while since the staff is talking to someone else. Good thing that I don’t need to pick a number or I will be waiting for quite a long time there. Those who got a number are all applying for a card. I am just there to pay for my monthly contribution.
My time has finally come and the staff has started to entertain me. I said that I want to pay my monthly contribution. Seeing my record on her computer, she ask me if I want to pay 300 pesos, I told her that I want to for 5 months but she replied that payment are in quarterly so I said that I want to pay for 2 quarters. After punching the payment details on her computer I ask her when I could I use the card on any hospital, she gradually replied that the card isn’t activated yet. I have to wait till January since my card is just new. She added that there are different levels of usage of the card. It depends on the condition of the patient.
