Today I just got an argument with my sister about giving my mother insulin this morning. I checked the blood sugar and found out that my mom’s blood sugar is just 100 and I told my mother that I would just give her 10 cc of insulin but she said that she don’t want to take any since it is too low.
About 4:30 pm my sister calls me again and said that I should give our mom a test the second tie this day. So I did the test and found out that her blood sugar has risen a bit. So I give her 10 cc of insulin. After a few minutes, she was feeling strong. For a moment there we thought that we would rush our mother to the hospital again since she is weaker.
I watched some TV and rest for a few minutes then suddenly I am having this awkward feeling where I feel that I am weaker and uncomfortable. I thought of eating something and try to buy some bread at the bakeshop. While I was going outside of my room I notice that my mother is still awake so I ask her if she wants some bread and he nodded. So I bought bread and give some to my mother, as I ate a few bread my strength regains. I realized that my mother is hungry. This is the effect of diabetis on patients.
