Some experts are saying that too much time in front of the television would cause death. I guess that this is the reason why when we were still children that parents instruct us on doing physical work around the house.
Those who are living a couch potato lifestyle will develop fat more fast than those who are always moving. David Dunston of the Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute said that most of the physical activities, which force a person to be more active like in the old days, have been converted to just sitting with the introduction of the technology.
I like to watch television all day since I am currently working as a Webmaster, most of the time I am only watching television to kill some time. Little did I know that this could shorten my life? Because of my lifestyle, I have developed type 2 diabetis. I could have avoided it if only I am not sitting all the time in front of the computer.
Aside from being with the computer all the time and watching television, other activities that could cause your early death are car commuting, and working in an office.
If you don’t want to die early in your life then you should watch how much time you are idle. Helping in housework chores could help prolonged your life. If you have a stationary bike at home then you could move it close to the TV so that you could exercise while watching your favorite show.
Always find ways to keep moving. We should always think of our health rather than our comfort.
